Inspection and Testing 2394-01 is now 2391-50

The City and Guilds 2394-01 'Inspection and Testing' qualification has now been replaced by the City and Guilds 2391-50.

Still run as a 5 day course, the main difference is in the way the qualification is assessed.
Simplifying the previous 3 modules, one of which involved a dated entry paper, the 2391-50 is now assessed by two compulsory units:

The 2391-050 Theory paper is made up as follows:

1. Understand the requirements for initial verification of electrical installations (3 questions, 7%)
2. Understand safety management procedures when undertaking initial verification (3 questions, 7%)
3. Understand the requirements for the initial inspection of an electrical installation (7 questions, 18%)
4. Understand the requirements for testing electrical installations at initial verification (27 questions, 68%)
