Candidates on practical courses must bring long sleeved overalls / protective clothing and safety footwear. Safety eye protection such as tinted glasses is recommended, particularly for brazing courses.

In house training can be provided, subject to tutor availability, where companies have sufficient numbers of candidates and suitable facilities.

Special courses tailored to individual company needs can also be arranged. Please contact us if you would like to discuss this further.
City and Guilds 2079 (categories 1 - 4) 'F Gas' refrigerant handling qualifications are available. Category 1 is offered as standard, other categories are available on request. Category 4 (Leak Testing) can be taken in conjunction with our Maintenance course or on its own.

It is strongly recommended that anyone attending the one day Hydrocarbon (City & Guilds 6187-21) course should already hold 2079 category 1 or 2 or CITB J11/J12.

Combined Service, Maintenance and Installation with Copper Brazing and Refrigerant Handling
Please note, these courses last 10 working days (Monday to Friday) and dates given exclude the weekend. Courses will finish at approximately 2 pm on the first Friday and as soon as all assessments have been successfully completed on the final Friday.
