HYDROCARBONS - Learn more, get qualified!
The use of hydrocarbon refrigerants has grown over recent years and is likely to increase further. Working with such substances can be worrying if you aren't familiar with them but we can provide training to those already working with the common refrigerants. Historically, refrigerant handling qualifications have included hydrocarbons - but not any more! In response to this City and Guilds introduced their 6187-21 qualification which we have been running regularly now for a number of years.
Run as a one day session for experienced engineers a presentation is followed by both practical and theoretical assessments to City and Guilds' requirements. Although not mandatory - at the moment - it is an ideal opportunity to learn more about this increasingly popular range of refrigerants and gain a recognised City and Guilds qualification at the same time.
While all candidates for the one day course will be experienced engineers who will usually already hold a valid 'F Gas' qualification longer courses are also available for anyone less experienced.
Further information on all our courses can be found in the course synopses on the left hand side of the website or please telephone us.
