Success for Level 2 Diploma Groups ......

93% pass rate!
The first groups to tackle the new C & G 6187 level 2 QCF Diploma course (6187-01 or 6187-02), we are delighted to say that hard work (with a little help from tutors/employers) has meant that almost everyone has successfully completed their course - and on time!

Two years ago saw a fair level of apprehension - particularly among the tutors!

Frantically putting together a training programme for the new qualification, ensuring course notes and assignments were ready, and getting to grips with an entirely new approach to NVQ courses, the challenges were immense. Three technical exams had become eight, entirely new sections had been added and everyone was on a steep learning curve.

Despite a few hiccups along the way, by retaining as many elements as possble of our proven delivery methods, including the 'block' method of training sessions and small numbers per group (fundamental to all our training) the results speak for themselves. Not content with completing the course in record time, four apprentices then went on to be nominated for the 2013 RAC Student of the Year competition with two achieving a Highly Commended in the finals so we simply couldn't ask for more.

Proud to be 'different' we do not limit our courses to conventional college terms and have a rolling programme of training so that new groups can start at anytime. As we work with local colleges you may also be able to access funding so that you (or your apprentice) can gain industry recognised qualifications (including the essential 'F Gas') in a work place environment.
