HYDROCARBONS - UPDATE

A reminder that the City and Guilds 6187-21 qualification for Hydrocarbon Refrigerants is available from PRTC either as a one day course for experienced engineers or a one week course for anyone less experienced.

R290 in 370g containers and R600a in 420g containers is available from our sister company, Pendle Refrigeration Wholesale Ltd.

The use of hydrocarbon refrigerants has grown over recent years and is likely to increase further. Working with such substances can be concerning for some, however we can provide training to those already working with the common refrigerants.

Running as a one day session for experienced engineers a presentation is followed by both practical and theoretical assessments to City and Guilds' requirements.

For the less experienced we also run a five day session which not only enlarges on hydrocarbons as above but also includes the fluorocarbon refrigerant handling qualification, commonly referred to as F-Gas, from City and Guilds or Constructionskills.
