C & G 6187 Apprenticeships - Last Chance for Funded Learning

Funding for the 6187 NVQ Diplomas is changing later this year to make way for the Trailblazer qualification (6090). New 6187 groups are being enrolled up to the end of April 2017 so you don't need to miss out. There are level 2 and level 3 places available at present but these are filling up fast.

As explained before, you will take either the Air Conditioning or the Refrigeration route at level 2 (6187-01 or 6187-02). At level 3 you specialise again, in either service and maintenance or installation in your chosen field (6187-03, 6187-04, 6187-05, 6187-06). Typically level 2 will take 18 - 24 months to complete and level 3 will take approximately 12 months.

The new trailblazer is a potentially exciting development but is completely unknown at this stage. The City and Guilds 6187 provides tried and tested learning which is available now. As always, you will also benefit from

• Block learning, not day release
• Good hand outs/course notes/guidance so that your portfolio develops as you do
• Gaining your City and Guilds 2079 "F Gas" qualification - mandatory for working in the RAC industry in the UK
• Technical units are delivered by time served RAC/Electrical engineers
• A chance to become a finalist in the annual RAC Cooling Industry Student of the Year or the ACR Trainee of the Year competitions
• You don't have to have taken your level 2 with us to join us for level 3.
