NVQ Level 2 at PRTC
Wednesday, January 20, 2010
Good news! Some funding support may be available, even for adult learners. To find out more please contact Ian Cross at Training 2000:

Tel: 01254 54659 or Email: ian.cross@t2000.co.uk

For adult learners who don't qualify for funding we can offer a simple, cost effective way of achieving recognised qualifications in a realistic time frame.

If you need a Skill Card this is particularly important because to get a skill card now you will need:

• A valid refrigerant handling certificate
• City and Guilds 6087 level 2 (NVQ)
• City and Guilds 6127 level 2 (Technical Certificate)

We can help!

What we offer:

• Modular courses running all year - you can arrange your studies round your
other commitments.
• As always, courses that emphasise 'hands-on' and a practical approach to
study.
• A range of industry recognised qualifications.
• 'Pay as you go' - we're not asking for the full amount on day one. Just a
registration fee and then payment for each module as you book it.

The qualifications

• Construction Skills Pipework and Brazing level 2
• Construction Skills Essential and Basic Refrigeration Electrics
• City and Guilds 2079 in Refrigerant handling - category 1
• City and Guilds 6127 - Technical Certificate level 2
• City and Guilds 6087-02 NVQ in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning level 2

Who should apply?

• Anyone employed by a refrigeration or air conditioning based company as you
will need to be able to gather evidence for your portfolio.
• Anyone with approximately 4 weeks they can use to attend courses here over a
12 - 18 month period (shorter if you prefer!) and some spare time for
completing your portfolio and paperwork.
• Anyone who needs (or would like) recognised qualifications whatever your
background and experience.
