Legislation for mobile air conditioning systems has now changed - by 2011 a recognised qualification is mandatory for anyone handling refrigerants on these systems too.

Not qualified yet - don't worry! The City and Guilds 5101 Unit 1 (5101-04-301)meets the needs of 'F Gas' and is now available here or on site (subject to suitable facilities).
Already hold the 2079 qualification? If you are now working on mobile air conditioning systems you will still need to take the 5101 Unit 1 because of the different skills involved.
