Introduction
PRTC is now approved to provide the City and Guilds Technical Certificate Level 2 (6127-01) for Small Commercial Refrigeration and Air conditioning Systems. This qualification is the equivalent of NVQ level 2.
Each level is examined 'on line' in one hour modules. Assessment is by multiple choice questions.
Candidates already at the required level may just come and take the assessment. Courses will be run to provide the underpinning knowledge for less experienced engineers and apprentices - these will be introduced in 2009. |

Methodology
Candidates for this assessment must telephone the office to reserve a place. Assessments are pre-booked and are carried out by means of multiple choice papers completed 'on-line'. |
