Introduction

This course is designed for engineers who require a basic understanding of electrical concepts, including electrical regulations and health and safety. Engineers intending taking the Construction Skills - Basic Refrigeration System Electrics (E16) must already hold the Essential Electrics qualification or be at this level.
Objective

To attain a basic understanding of electricity and the underpinning knowledge required for the Construction Skills Essential Electrics qualification.
Methodology

The topics will be covered with emphasis on practical work from the delegate using actual working systems where applicable. Theoretical work will be assisted by the use of good quality visual aids and discussion sessions.
